Hard Costs serves to “translate” the fixed-price expenses into hours logged in the Teamwork task.
From an allocations standpoint, a Hard Costs task has a time estimate that tells how much budget (expressed in hours) is allocated for an expense. Example expenses would be:
using a link building vendor to order links,
buying citations in Bright Local, etc.
Hard Costs is set up as a User on Teamwork:
The “Log More Time” option in Teamwork can be used to log time as another user.
Log the time as the Hard Costs user in the Hard Costs task. Try not to exceed the allocated hours.
Log hard costs in teamwork at the time when the expense was made.
